The Winter Road is the critical supply lifeline for NWT's remote mines and one of the High North’s most important annual projects.
The general responsibility of the Dispatch Supervisor includes the supervision of all Winter Road Dispatch Services to and from the mine site during the 2023/24 Winter Road operation. The Dispatch Team is responsible for ensuring a safe and efficient means of tracking, receiving, coordinating, and supporting all freight movements on and off the mine site.
Five years of supervisory dispatch experience in the trucking industry is required. Applicants with Winter Ice Road experience will be given hiring preference.
This opportunity includes industry competitive compensation, daily overtime, 12 hours workdays, and full access to on-site room and board including fitness and recreational amenities; paid flights, hotels, & meals from the closest major airport to and from the jobsite; and much more.
