The Project Facilities Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that all facilities related to specific projects are effectively planned, executed, and maintained. The individual will work closely with project managers, contractors, and other relevant departments to ensure that the physical resources necessary for project success are in place.

The Project Facilities Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that all facilities related to specific projects are effectively planned, executed, and maintained. The individual will work closely with project managers, contractors, and other relevant departments to ensure that the physical resources necessary for project success are in place.
Responsibilities:
- Coordination and Planning: Collaborate with project teams to understand facility requirements and ensure timely delivery.
- Vendor Management: Identify, negotiate, and manage contractors and vendors for facility-related needs.
- Budgeting: Develop and manage project-specific facilities budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions.
- Space Management: Coordinate the layout, design, and spatial requirements of the project, ensuring efficient use of space.
- Maintenance: Oversee the regular maintenance and servicing of facilities equipment, ensuring everything is in working order.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure all facilities adhere to local, state, and federal regulations and maintain a safe environment for all employees.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of facility usage, maintenance schedules, warranties, and other relevant information.
- Problem-Solving: Respond promptly to facilities-related issues, coordinating repairs or modifications as needed.
- Communication: Serve as the main point of contact between project teams and facilities providers or vendors.
- Continuous Improvement: Research and implement best practices in facilities management to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- A high school diploma is a must. A bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, or a related field is an asset.
- At least 3 years of experience in facilities coordination, project management, or a related role.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially MS Project or equivalent project management software. Experience using scheduling tools is an asset.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Familiarity with local building codes and regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and floor plans is a plus.
- Proven ability to manage budgets effectively.
