- Pursue and develop new business opportunities
- Work with sales force to increase sales in existing accounts through expanding product offerings
- Drive sales with a focus on the company’s Product Pillars
- Develop and manage relationships of Key Accounts and Contract Customer groups
- Develop and maintain the company’s Independent, Multi-unit, channel business in the area of operation(s)
- Seek out and build partnerships with key customers, suppliers, and industry participants
- Develop individual sales forecasts, plans, and budgets
- Plan and conduct activities and sales programs to drive growth in the segment
- Work as a team member with the company’s management and peers to develop both distributive and non-distributive company sales strategies
- Coordinate customer support utilizing corporate and regional resources
- Ensure timely execution of Sales administrative functions
- Maintain records to comply with the company, and government standards
- Ensure compliance with Marketing and Human Resources Programs
- Champion and enforce the Code of Conduct and the company’s policies and procedures
- Lead Change and be a Brand Champion
- Deliver planned results and expand the segment
- Other Duties as assigned
- Be relentless in driving growth and building mutually beneficial relationships
- 2 to 5 years of business development/sales experience in a similar-sized operation, or: a combination of post-secondary education and experience will also be considered
- 1 to 3 years or more of related industry experience preferred
- Competent computer skills including Microsoft Office and the ability to learn systems required
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, customers, colleagues, and staff
- All applicants will be required to complete a criminal and financial background check prior to hire
- Ability and willingness for frequent travel for training and required job duties
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
- Position location based in Calgary, Alberta
