The Billing Administrator will play a crucial role in managing the billing process, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing, and maintaining strong communication with clients and internal departments. This is a 6-month contract with the possibility of permanent.

Responsibilities:
- Generate and review invoices for accuracy and completeness before sending to clients.
- Collaborate with various departments to gather necessary information for invoicing, including project details, pricing, and expenses.
- Maintain and update client billing information, rates, and terms in the billing system.
- Monitor accounts receivable to ensure timely collection of payments and follow up on overdue accounts.
- Address client inquiries and resolve billing discrepancies in a professional and timely manner.
- Prepare and distribute monthly financial reports related to billing, revenue, and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile billing data with contracts, purchase orders, and other relevant documents to ensure consistency.
- Collaborate with the finance team to assist in month-end and year-end financial close activities.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date records of billing-related documentation.
- Provide support during audits by preparing necessary billing documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- 1-2 years of high-volume billing/invoicing experience.
- Proficiency in using billing and ERP systems is considered an asset.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel use is an asset (Pivot Tables & VLOOKUPs).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for interactions with clients and internal teams.
- Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance related to billing and invoicing.
