Benefits & Perks:
Responsibilities:
In this role, Mechanical or Electrical Engineer (with mechanical exposure) or Technologist, you'll be the architect of progress, creating innovative designs and concepts that are reshaping the Solar and EV landscape. Reporting to our Engineering group, you'll take on project-based challenges that will shape the future. Your responsibilities will involve crafting project tasks, designing new products, and establishing dynamic timelines for our ventures.
But that's not all - you'll also play the role of conductor, orchestrating innovation. Your tasks will include sourcing new vendors, exploring cutting-edge components, and researching materials that fuel the design of our Solar and EV masterpieces. You'll be an integral part of cross-functional team dynamics, actively participating in meetings and collaborative activities that ignite creativity.
Ensuring quality will be a significant aspect of your role, as you champion continuous improvement by implementing procedures that maintain departmental integrity. You'll excel in prototyping and testing, working closely with customers to bring visions to life. When production line challenges arise, you'll be the troubleshooter, ensuring our Solar and EV projects stay on the path to success.
Qualifications:
As an Innovation Engineer or Technical Trailblazer, you'll possess a post-secondary education in a relevant Engineering field, providing you with a launchpad into this dynamic universe. With 1-5 years of manufacturing experience under your belt, you'll bring valuable skills and insights to the table.
You are proficient in using advanced Excel skills and reading blueprints, making you stand out in the crowd. Quoting, estimating, and design work are not just tasks for you; they are your playground. Bills of Materials (BOMs) are familiar territory, and you have a keen eye for detail.
CAD and/or SolidWorks are your trusted allies, and you have experience with the Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC) that are essential in the engineering world.
