You will play a pivotal role in leading and delivering cutting-edge construction projects. With a focus on excellence and innovation, you will be responsible for managing the successful execution of construction initiatives, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

Responsibilities
  • Engage with clients directly in providing innovative design solutions in the transportation sector
  • Lead with a forward-thinking approach that promotes a team environment to improve overall group performance and client service
  • Manage multi-discipline, medium to large projects ($15 million to $80 million construction costs) through the design and construction phases, with an emphasis on construction
  • Provide proactive approach to delivering projects that anticipates issues to avoid delays or claims and minimizes extra work costs
  • Provide technical expertise and project management on transportation projects for public and private sector clients with a focus on highways, roads, and other transportation-related infrastructure
Qualifications
  • Undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited post-secondary institution
  • Registered as a Professional Engineer with APEGA, or eligible for registration
  • 15+ years of progressive experience in Civil Engineering for public and private sector clients with a focus on the Transportation sector. (Note that the second priority would be a 10+ person)
  • 5+ Direct and recent experience as Project Manager
  • 3-5 years of direct field experience is preferred
  • Experience with applicable industry software and project management tools (Full Microsoft suite of programs, BlueBeam Revu, Procore, Aconex, Dynamics 365, or similar)
  • Proven project management and business development experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal and time management skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Ability to work within tight deadlines and schedules
