Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, you will have the primary responsibility of assessing the current and future state as it relates to HR Technology. You will train staff on databases and act as the primary contact for end-user questions related to systems. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining human resources related reports and responding to a variety of data requests from across the organization. You will also resolve system processing issues and identify process enhancements required to improve operational efficiencies.

- Once selected, manage the implementation project for the company’s new Human Resource Information System, including, but not limited to: establishing and ensuring achievement of deliverables and timelines, planning change management, user training, data migration, system testing, collaboration with internal teams and external vendors, and measurement of implementation effectiveness post go-live.
- Problem solving of various scopes where analysis of situations or data requires a review of identifiable factors; exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action; may recommend changes to existing procedures and practices based on analysis of data.
- Design and prepare reports for employee data contained in the HRIS in response to requests from users within Human Resources and from users in other departments. Ensuring data integrity and follows quality control measures for data accuracy
- Resolve HRIS System issues; acts as “troubleshooter” for HRIS. Works with IT, Payroll, Billing, vendors and others in setting up tables and defining data fields to ensure proper reporting of data; Interact with IT staff in order to resolve HRIS issues as well as support upgrades, patches, testing and other technical projects as assigned
- Develop training and documentation of system use for HRIS users. Design user-friendly processes, guidelines, and documentation.
- Oversee all system upgrades and system additions in partnership with the IT department.
- University degree or college diploma or certificate in a related field
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in the field of HR System Development and/or HRIS analyst experience including system implementations
- Experience with a full range of HR processes and applications (Recruiting, Benefits, Payroll, Reporting) preferred.
- Knowledge and/or understanding of HRIS procedures and implementation of HRIS Systems
- Strong project management skills
- Demonstrated ability to exercise judgement, tact and discretion in preparing, disclosing and handling information of a confidential and/or sensitive nature
- Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing
- Ability to apply time management skills to prioritize and complete assignments within demanding work schedules
- Strong technical skills to research, compile and analyze information as well as investigate and resolve issues
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Advanced proficiency in excel required
