Junior Accountant

With a hybrid working environment, this energy-based company is looking for a well-versed accountant that has strong experience with SAP, specifically in the expenditure and procurement modules. Responsibilities:

• Processing and verification of in voices for both Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivables
• Processing travel claims
• Entering data into SAP 
• Filing and archiving of financial records
• Month-end and year-end assistance
• Posting and reviewing journal entries
• Reconciliation of general ledger accounts
• Posting of monthly accounting entries
• Any other administrative tasks as required

Qualifications:

• Two years of accounting, or related financial experience
• Post-secondary education in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a similar area
• Advanced experience with SAP, ideally within the expenditure and procurement modules
• The ability to work Monday to Friday 7.5 hours daily (exclusive of lunch breaks)
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time to ensure deadlines are met
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and confidentiality
