Accounts Payable Clerk

Responsibilities:

• Matching, Inputting, and coding invoices into the account system
• Reconciling processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports
• Paying vendors by both cheque and EFT payments
• Responding to all vendor inquiries 
• Performing bank, account, and credit card reconciliations
• Maintaining accounts files and records
• Producing monthly financial and management reports
• Investigating and resolving any irregularities or inquiries
• Other duties as required

Qualifications:

• A degree or diploma in accounting, finance, or a similar field
• 2-3 years experience in an Accounts Payable or similar role
• Perusing CPA designation is considered an asset
• Experience with SAGE 300 or similar systems is considered an asset
• Experience within a residential development or property management setting is considered an asset
• Exceptional verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to attend to detail.
• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
