Benefits & Perks:
- Compensation: Upto $75,000
- Hybrid: 2 to 3 times at the Client’s Delta, BC Location
- 4 weeks Vacations + Health & Dental Benefits (starts from Day 1)
Responsibilities:
- Must be able to process payroll for upto 400 hourly and salary union employees in BC
- Able to import hours and changes submitted from pay groups into ADP workforce now
- Ensure all Federal and Provincial laws are followed
- Assist the payroll team throughout the year and during Year End by running and auditing reports
- Thorough knowledge of Federal and Provincial government legislation and regulations, and union agreement(s) related to wage and benefit administration and Human Resources employment and labour relations best practices
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Degree in Business Administration or Accounting is an asset
- Upto 5 years of experience in payroll and knowledge of Canadian Payroll Practices (best practices) and related legislation
- Experience working with 400 employees including Hourly, Salary and Commission Payroll
- Must have Union and Non-Union Payroll Experience
- PCP certified or plan to write their designation – company willing to provide Education Reimbursement
- Advanced MS office including Excel (formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUPS) is a must
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now is an asset
