Senior Accountant

Reporting to the Controller, the Senior Accountant is responsible for a wide range of functions including journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate fixed asset accounting and reporting.
• Assist in the preparation of the annual budget.
• Revenue coding for different geographical locations.
• Prepare month-end general ledger reconciliations.
• Joint venture accounting and reporting.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly group reporting requirements.

Qualifications:

• Accounting designation (CPA) is considered an asset.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in accounting and financial reporting.
• Experience with Great Plains or Business Central would be considered an asset.
• Intermediate level of Excel including pivot tables, and vlookups required.
• Effective problem-solving capabilities.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with a proven ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
• Outstanding attention to detail and proven accuracy.
