Responsibilities:
- Supervise the construction of assigned projects in collaboration with the Senior Superintendent
- Execute project work plans aimed at keeping the project on track and budget
- Manage all site supervision and workforce resources, providing mentorship and training
- Ensure the project materials and workmanship meet the project quality standards
- Maintain professional relationships with local trades, suppliers, customers, and the general public
- When required, lead site project meetings and provide direction and guidance as needed
- Work with the Construction Safety Officer to ensure all safety programs are adhered to by company policies and procedures
- The ability to read and interpret, working drawings and shop drawings, site instructions, and RFI’s
- Work well under pressure to adhere to project completion timelines
- Coordinate with sub-trades to ensure all work complies with contract documents
- Perform additional assignments as directed by the Senior Superintendent for the successful project completion
- Minimum 5-10 years as a Superintendent with experience in multi-family concrete high-rise buildings
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Ability to effectively manage time, responsibilities, and priorities
- Must have a comprehensive understanding of safety regulations within the general construction industry
- Ability to guide safe work practices in a high-pressure environment
- Knowledge of project construction law and building codes
- Ability to adapt to changing conditions and proactively develop appropriate means and methods to meet and overcome challenges
- Ability to use Microsoft Office Software, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Passionate about building quality products
