Join a top employer and advance your career! We have partnered with our client to seek a Project Manager with IT experience to manage multiple, concurrent, capital construction projects. This is a 1-year, remote contract. It is available to candidates Canada-wide (preference for candidates in Manitoba).

Responsibilities:
  • Manage the overall operation of assigned projects/programs
  • Design, direct, implement, and disseminate objectives and operational strategies
  • Create and manage program budgets
  • Ensuring project operations are consistent with regulatory guidelines and internal processes
  • Escalation of issues and risks to appropriate business and technical stakeholders to ensure timely resolution to project impediments
  • Ensures all relevant documents and artifacts are stored in the appropriate project folders (SharePoint) as per the project scope framework and are readily available for scrutiny by the Executive Team, and Internal Audit
  • Developing, processing, and monitoring program performance
  • Collecting, recording, and analyzing project data
  • May Have to facilitate project audits to confirm they are on track with documentation, budget, schedule, and scope to mitigate potential risks to compliance or project success
  • Tracks scope changes and approved change orders, and communicates them to the project team, and the client as required
  • Attend committee meetings and industry events as needed
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of Project Management experience
  • Experience with Capital Construction Projects $5m+
  • Project experience with IT Infrastructure from scratch
  • Experience managing vendors, stakeholders, and internal & external resources
  • Experience with MS Project, Visio, Slack, SharePoint & MS Office tools
  • Applied knowledge of program management processes, budgeting, information analysis, and reporting
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple deadlines at a time
  • PMP and other related certificates or education an asset
