Project Support Specialist

Join a top employer and advance your career. Our client a leader in their field has partnered with Aplin to hire a Project Support Specialist. This candidate will provide support with onboarding and offboarding of resources and administrative activities.

This is a remote opportunity open to candidates Canada-wide and is being offered on a 3-year contract.

Responsibilities:

• Collect and prepare background materials, as appropriate, for workshops, dashboards, meetings, and presentations
• Work collaboratively with various stakeholders to coordinate cross-departmental and cross-organizational meetings, communications, and deliverables
• Work with Project Managers to coordinate all activities for involved teams/stakeholders, tracking progress, and following up as required
• Serve as point of contact with ITS, external consultants, and selected pilot participants to coordinate efforts on design, development, build, and testing activities
• Organize and coordinate workshops for gathering requirements, user acceptance testing, and developing change management activities with external technology consultants, ITS, selected pilot participants, and partners
• Consolidate and document requirements from workshops
• Coordinate organizational change management activities, including end-user training
• Other activities and deliverables, as required

Qualifications:

• University degree or college diploma in business administration or a related field
• A minimum of three (3) years of demonstrated experience in project support or coordination
• Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Experience with SharePoint, SAP, and Adaptive
• Ability to acquire Canadian Secret Security Clearance
