Sr. SharePoint Developer and Functional Specialist

Are you a Senior SharePoint Developer who has experience with Agile methodology? Do you have a strong understanding of Cloud and MS Azure DevOps? Do you have technical experience working with various technology stacks out side of SharePoint? If so this opportunity may be for you!
 
Responsibilities: 

• Safety lead and adhere to sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedures
• Ongoing sustainment and support of exiting SharePoint sites, solutions, custom code and associated Dev/Ops pipelines
• Incident response and resolution for issues with SharePoint production solutions relating to SharePoint functional configuration or custom code
• Design, configuration, development, test and deploy complex business solutions on SharePoint platform
• Maintain and enhance SharePoint UX/UI
• Ensure compliance with Tech development standards and practices
• Perform code reviews for SharePoint related projects and provide oversight ensuring compliance with industry and QA practices, code standards
• Standard business analysis responsibilities as they relate to any solution and more specifically SharePoint such as requirements definition, development and execution of test plans and cases, user training, and more
• Participate in the development of metrics and measures to improve SharePoint support and solution delivery
• Achieve key breakthroughs, on time, on quality, and within scope
• Engage collaborators by raising impediments, validating risk, and communicating status and performance metrics

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s engineering degree or equivalent professional experience
• Formal Scrum or Agile training (e.g. SAFe® Scrum Master / Advanced Scrum Master), Certified Scrum Practitioner, Professional Scrum Master (PSM1 or PSM2) or Certified Scrum Coach is an asset
• SharePoint Certifications
• SharePoint Platform management skills – technical backend, deployment skills that facilitate management of farms, utility integration and other more technical platform management functions
• Experience with Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Python platform automation, MS Azure Dev/Ops pipeline development and code management is an asset
• Innovative and technology savvy with a passion for quality solution delivery
• Ability to effectively transfer knowledge to team members
• Assertive, with the confidence to be heard – not afraid to do what is best for the team
• Able to build a sense of trust and rapport that creates a comfortable & effective workplace
• 10 years of proven experience with on-prem SharePoint. Mostly with on-prem SharePoint (2013, 2016, 2019) functionality and online functional expertise
• 5 years’ experience as a SharePoint Developer with languages Angular, React, Sharegate and Web UX/UI
• 3 years’ experience with Agile solution delivery tools, techniques and methodology (coaching Scrum and Kanban teams, backlog grooming, retrospectives, epics, user stories, and more)
• Impeccable problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills, with the ability to coach and mentor
• Ability to thrive in a cross-functionality environment, and have the ability to develop strong relationships with business representatives and user of SharePoint
