Project Manager

This is a 4-month contract opportunity with a strong possibility of extension. This opportunity is open to candidates in the Winnipeg-area. This role is an onsite role.

Responsibilities:

• Create the Project Charter, Project Plan, and other project planning artifacts
• Conduct market research
• Consult with internal stakeholders, vendors, and other transit properties
• Coordinate or execute the collection and creation of current state information such as process flows and technical architecture
• Coordinate or execute the gathering of business, technical, and other requirements
• Coordinate or execute the creation of future state information such as process flows and technical architecture
• Coordinate or execute procurement processes and the creation of procurement artifacts such as RFPs

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in Project Management
• 3+ years of experience in business transformation and change management
• Attainment of a Project Management Professional (PMP) designation and ADKAR Change Management Certification is an asset
• Experience in public sector projects would be an asset
• Experience in radio communications technology and information technology environments would be an asset
• Demonstrated verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated written communication skills, especially in the creation of a project, requirements analysis, technical, and procurement documents
• Demonstrated skills and knowledge in business and technical requirements analysis would be an asset
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
