Procurement Coordinator

Our client is looking for someone who will be responsible for coaching, mentoring, and training the organization towards a high level of agile maturity. This is a hybrid 12-month contract opportunity and is available to candidates in Vancouver or Calgary area.

Responsibilities:

• Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedures
• Responsible for entering contracts into management systems
• Support in the loading and managing of competitive bidding packages within Ivalua and readying for distribution
• Distributing various legal documents for execution with the electronic signature tool Adobe Sign
• Coordinate vendor setup for external parties and assist accounting/project team with verification and processing of invoices
• Maintain the integrity of information within the contracts management system
• Coordinate and attend internal contract stakeholder meetings, track deliverables, and action items
• Weekly reporting on contracts action log
• Provide quarterly reports to Finance on material Contracts and commitments

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma from a university or college
• 2 years’ of relevant experience working as a procurement specialist/coordinator
• General knowledge of information technology hardware and software
• Attention to detail, and highly organized and methodical thinker
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Loves technology and has excellent computer skills and must be proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Acrobat Pro
• A self-starter who demonstrates initiative and is comfortable working within a team and independently
• Passionate about customer service and sales and thrives in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Critical thinking with strong analytical skills and a strong work ethic
• Experience using Ivalua is preferred
