Join a top employer and advance your career. Our client, a leader in their field, has partnered with Aplin to hire a Bilingual Tier 1 Service Desk Analyst. This is a 1-year contract opportunity open to candidates in the Ottawa area. This role has a hybrid working environment.

  • Provides 'in incident' phone and report support as part of the service desk
  • Performs day-to-day support and monitoring of technologies and solutions
  • Investigates, analyzes, and responds to incidents
  • Assist staff face-to-face, virtually, by phone, or chat
  • Resolve issues with technology through one-on-one interactions
  • Troubleshoot a variety of first-level IT support issues on different platforms and programs
  • Answer questions and provide advice by phone, email, or chat
  • Develop documentation for common issues
  • 1.5+ years of experience as a Service Desk Analyst/Tier 1 Support
  • An undergraduate degree in computer science, engineering, or mathematics or an equivalent level of experience
  • Fluent in French
  • Experience with O365, Windows 11, and Service Now
  • Knowledge of computer hardware and peripherals
  • Knowledge of iPhone and Android devices
  • Ability/desire to work late
