Talent Acquisition Specialist

This is a newly created role responsible for full-cycle recruiting within the company, including sourcing, attracting, interviewing and onboarding employees.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the recruiting process from start to finish, including advertising, sourcing, interviewing, making hiring recommendations, preparing job offers, preparing salary and position change documents for internal applicants, tracking onboarding success, etc.
• Assess and make recommendations regarding our recruiting and onboarding practices, policies, vendors, etc.
• Participate in a variety of departmental and company initiatives and projects, as required. This may include but is not limited to participation on committees, assisting with company functions, and internal auditing
• General HR duties as assigned.  This can include updating our HRIS by processing terminations, updating employee information, entering salary adjustments, etc.

Qualifications:

• 2-year college diploma in Human Resources or equivalent post-secondary education in Human Resources and related fields
• 2+ years of practical experience in Human Resources with a focus on full-cycle recruiting
• Strong oral and written communications skills with solid knowledge of Human Resources best practices
• Self-Motivated team player able to work with minimal supervision 
• Effective at multi-tasking and prioritizing assignments
• Strong working knowledge of standard computer programs (e.g., internet, spreadsheet, email, word processing, etc.)
