Controls and Automation Engineer or Technologist

Responsibilities:

• Control system design
• PLC programming
• Electrical design
• In-house testing of machines and plants before delivery to customer
• Field commissioning of machinery and plant at the customer's premises worldwide
• Remote diagnosis and troubleshooting

 Qualifications:

• Post-Secondary education in Electrical, Electronics, Automation, or Computer Science (equivalent combination of experience and education will be considered)
• 1+ years’ experience with programming of controls software, proficiency in PLC programming within industrial/manufacturing applications
• Working knowledge of electrical schematics and diagrams
• Ability to work independently in product development as well as working with a team in developing field applications
