The Regional Sales Manager will lead a team of sales representatives across the Eastern and Atlantic region, ensuring the team grows existing client base, develops avenues to partner with new clients, and ensures profitability in the region. Responsibilities:
- Lead the sales and business strategy for the assigned region
- Manage a team of sales representatives to drive profitable growth
- Liaise with cross-functional team of suppliers and internal team representatives
- Conduct sales calls and manage relations with all vendors and customers in the assigned territory
- Research new products/services in the market and analyze competitors operating in the same environment to stay ahead of the curve
- Take initiatives to develop programs to drive growth for the business line
- Maintain and manage documentation for proper reporting
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Science or Business
- 10+ years of relevant sales experience, preferably in biotech research or related industry with prior track record of success
- Previous leadership and team management experience is a must-have for this role
- Bilingual in French is an asset
- Strong selling and presentation skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability and willingness to travel to travel throughout North America
