If you are a talented and experienced DevSecOps Specialist, Aplin has the right opportunity for you! Our Manitoba-based client is searching for a candidate who will be responsible for analyzing, planning, creating, and testing development pipelines.

This is a 12-month contract available to candidates Canada-wide and is offered as fully remote.


  • Proficiency with Azure DevOps and D365 PowerApps in support of CI/CD pipelines for building, packaging, deploying, and testing
  • Experience with quality and approval gates for deployments.
  • Experience with service connections, artifacts, GIT repos, and agent and deployment pools.
  • Experience with library variable groups and integration with Azure Key Vault.
  • Experience in using PowerShell scripting.
  • Knowledge of automated test execution.
  • Experience with Release on Demand, Continuous Exploration, Continuous Integration, and Continuous Deployment
  • Knowledge of threat modelling, continuous security monitoring, penetration testing, and application security.


  • Analyzes current systems and DevOps deployment strategies through a review of documentation and interviews with product teams.
  • Troubleshoots deployment processes.
  • Prepares or assists with feasibility studies (cost-benefit analysis or business case), requirement definitions, conceptual and system design documents, project plans and estimates, implementation designs, system and program specifications, and systems/interfaces and user documentation.
  • Defines testing requirements.
  • Ensures the technical feasibility of provided designs.
  • Leads teams in the development of new CI/CD deployment strategies and enhancements to existing ones.
  • Provides both technical and general direction to delivery teams.
  • Leads joint systems/interfaces development sessions.
  • Develops new release-on-demand packages using the provided information in accordance with established criteria and standards.
  • Optimizes CI/CD pipelines for optimal performance (speed, scalability, etc.).
  • Creates test plans that are in accordance with established criteria and standards.
  • Maintains historical records by documenting iteration development and revisions.
  • Proficiency in building integration solutions leveraging various standards on microservices, messaging, queueing, API management, and integration patterns
  • Develop custom reusable frameworks for error management, logging, and monitoring.
