If you are a talented and experienced Senior Business Analyst, Aplin has partnered with an Edmonton based company to add to their team.

Reporting to the Director of Business Analytics, the Senior BA is responsible to guide change initiatives that bring value to the stakeholders. This role will rally resources across the organization as needed and drive collaboration effectively. In this exciting role, you will own the product, process, or deliverable, determine operational objectives and assist in change management for projects and initiatives across the entire organization. This is an office based, remote hybrid position.  

The Senior BA Delivers The Following Services To Other Divisions Within The Organization:
  • Business Process Management (BPM)
  • Business Requirements
  • Project Management
  Thought Leadership:
  • Maintain a complete workstream end-to-end, leading the thinking around problem-solving approach, framework to solve the issue
  • Design, structure and provide oversight on both quantitative and qualitative analysis
Team Leadership:
  • Provides Project Management assistance to all other departments as required
  • Build and Maintain Standard Operating Procedures throughout the organization
  • Work with business units to assess the opportunity and implications of solutions to the organization
  • Help identify the delivery platforms, operating models, compensation structures, process’ required to deliver solutions
  • Work with business units to implement the approved product and service solutions in the agreed to timeline

Qualifications:
  • Minimum 7+ years of business analysis or related experience
  • Proven ability and experience with established process improvement methodologies (i.e. Lean)
  • Proven functional knowledge of all business areas
  • Experience working with service establishment of software and infrastructure platforms
  • Project management design and delivery
  • Ability to think out of the box
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Problem solver
  • Ability to understand and interpret high-level corporate objectives and align with process application
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional ability to gather relevant data, then translate that data on meaningful information that the originations can understand and act on
  • Ability to identify and solve root cause process issues
  • Ability to gain organizational support for complex concepts
  • Ability to work cross functionally to support the approved product implementation
