Responsibilities:
- Lead the overall sourcing strategy for our current product lines and ongoing product additions
- Take ownership of manufacturer and supplier selection for products and related components
- Ensure sampling and production quality control and testing standards are met and achieve parameters set out by our Senior Technical Manager
- Establish sourcing processes and procedures to support management of supplier performance, supplier selection strategy, capacity planning and total cost analysis

- Negotiate key terms with manufacturers and suppliers to achieve business targets
- Initiate and maintain cost sheets, tracking all indices that impact product input costs
- Analyze economic indicators of applicable raw materials and impact on the future cost of goods in key commodity areas related to components, product and logistics
Team:
As the leader of our highest EBITDA impact activities, you will foster robust relationships within the team
- Partner with Sales & Marketing during development phases to execute on product solutions with suppliers
- Coordinate with Operations to ensure deal terms support efficient flow of goods
Partnerships:
- Develop Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) via quarterly reviews for all strategic suppliers
- Actively monitor and mitigate supplier risk including financial, capacity, quality, and compliance
Innovation:
- Expand component sourcing networks and partnerships to support product, package and delivery innovations
- Initiate research for global packaging innovations and propose to the marketing team cyclically for execution
- Maintain intimacy with the big picture as well as key details – both vendor and customer facing; anticipate barriers and proactively develop solutions to overcome obstacles
Qualifications:
- You hold a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance or related field
- SCMP designation or MBA is an asset
- You have a minimum of 10 years of experience in sourcing, purchasing or supply chain management with a focus on strategic sourcing
- You have a minimum of 5 years in a leadership/managerial capacity in sourcing and/or supply chain management
