The Sr. Consultant -- ICT Systems Architecture (Presales) will act as the primary technical resource for the sale of products and services for our clients. Your primary responsibility will be to combine technical knowledge and sales skills in order to provide consultation to current and potential clients, demonstrating product solutions to customer needs and assist the Delivery teams in implementing the solutions on the close of the sale. This role is fully remote.

  • Provide consultation to clients and potential clients, in order to understand and assess Client needs and provide hardware and software solutions
  • Provide pre-sale education, quotes, and contracts to potential and existing customers regarding products and services offered by Epic, custom solutions, and clearly communicate how these solutions will enhance our Client’s current IT environment and/or help strategically plan for their future growth
  • Conduct Epic Cloud products demonstrations
  • Liaise with established clients to provide information on advanced, improved and/or modified products and their applications
  • Identify, recommend and develop sales strategies and process efficiencies, as required
  • Create and maintain client relationships, consistently searching for new, potential clients who may benefit from services and products provided
  • Collaborate with customer contacts, up to and including “C” level executives, to define needs, provide consulting services, and recommend the most appropriate solution to the customer
  • Support the Sales team in sales presentations that highlight key benefits, ROI, and value of the company’s IT products / services
  • Attend sales and technology training as required
  • Some travel may be required
  • Other duties shall be assigned as required
  • At least 5 years of experience providing IT consulting sales and services to Enterprise customers
  • 3 years of technical sales experience for Enterprise IT systems and solutions
  • 2 years of practical technical sales experience within a relevant industry
  • Nice to have technical and sales certifications: Cisco, NetApp, VMware, Microsoft, Checkpoint, Veeam, HPE, SentinelOne
  • Understanding of an MSP and Cloud services environment will be an asset
  • Strong written and verbal communication, listening, and negotiation skills
  • Demonstrated technical knowledge and consultative skills
  • Ability to understand customer requirements and position the best solution, clearly articulating this complex technical information and value proposition of the service and solution
  • Demonstrated presentation skills
  • Self-motivated, strong analytical skills and detail oriented
  • Goal oriented, with a proven history of meeting or exceeding sales goals
  • Strong knowledge of consulting principles, methods, practices, and techniques
  • Solid experience in opportunity qualification, pre-call planning, call control, account development, and time management
  • Strong negotiation and collaboration skills
  • Experience with creating quotations and calculating margin or markup
  • Highly organized and able to effectively track sales activities (customer calls, contacts, meetings, etc.). Preference for experience using ConnectWise to manage activities
