Aplin has partnered with an Ontario-based company, a leading and well renowned entity in the services sector to hire a Bilingual Sales Manager who will be responsible for developing overall Government sales strategy and execution efforts for their Federal and Provincial Government customer base. The Sales Manager will also be accountable for managing revenue and growing the Government business through net new logos and share of wallet with Federal and Provincial Government agencies.

Responsibilities: 
  • Aggressively pursue and achieve a minimum of 100% of assigned revenue quota (annually and quarterly) through sales of company solutions
  • Direct and coordinate the efforts of Account Executives toward the accomplishment of corporate objectives
  • Develop, plan, implement, and execute sales strategies to meet business objectives and achieve maximum results
  • Recruit, motivate and develop top quality Account Executives
  • Develop customer-centric solutions that promote customer and employee loyalty while maintaining acceptable profit margins
  • Hands-on relationship with the top government customers
  • Build ongoing strong relationships with executive suite customers
  • Manage the target account process and assist Account Executives in closing business
  • Instill a sense of competition and urgency in the Account Executive's while creating a team environment
  • Continually evaluates the timely adjustment of sales plans to meet changing competitive conditions
  • Ensure accountability and recognize the contributions of all staff leading towards the development of stronger business partnerships with all National Accounts

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree, majoring in Sales, Marketing, or business-related field or equivalent
  • Minimum 2-5 years of progressive sales experience with Federal and Provincial government
  • Excellent planning, organizational, analytical, leadership, and oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated negotiation skills and ability to build and maintain trusting customer relationships
  • Must be self-motivated, proactive, and have a high-energetic approach to problem solving
  • Ability to build strong relationships Federal and Provincial Government agencies
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Strong communication and negotiations skills and ability to work with C-Suite executive level contacts
  • Ability to build strong relationships with Customers, Strategic Account Executives, Sales Leadership, Vendors, internal Stakeholder and possibly Board level
  • Hub/Depot/Supply Chain Operations knowledge and experience
  • Bilingual in French and English is mandatory
