 Join a top employer and advance your career. Aplin has partnered with a Burlington, ON based company to hire a Payroll Coordinator. This is a permanent opportunity! 

Benefits & Perks:
  • Compensation: Upto 90k 
  • Mon to Fri 40 hours a week 
  • Benefits: 3 weeks vacation + Health & Dental including RRSP 5% matching 
  • On-Site for training and then moved to remote option 2 days per week to a max of 6 days per month

Responsibilities:
  • Report to the CFO 
  • Multiprovincial Payroll for ON, BC, AB & NWT
  • Process Payroll for upto 200 employees (must have union and non-union experience)
  • Able to process and calculate garnishments 
  • Reconcile payroll GLs 
  • Update and maintain employee files this includes internal files and group plan files
  • Verify and process timesheets for salaried employees and balance their vacations
  • Process and sends out pay stubs, ROE's, T4's

Qualifications:
  • Degree or Diploma in Business Administration or Accounting is an asset
  • Must have at least 3 to 5 years of full-cycle payroll with multiprovincial experience
  • Working towards PCP or Certified in PCP is an asset
  • Must be Proficient in MS Office including Excel (Pivot Tables, Formulas and VLookups) and working with Jonas is an asset
  • Experience in Construction Industry is an asset
  • Working Towards PCP or Certified
