Are you looking for a firm that treats you like a family? Our client, a growing mid-sized law firm, has partnered with Stacey Danley, Senior Partner with Aplin to hire a Bookkeeper/Office Manager based in Winnipeg, Manitoba. 

Responsibilities will include two key areas:

Bookkeeping:
  • Data entry and maintenance of trust accounts
  • Managing accounts payable and receivable
  •  Receiving and recording cash and cheques
  • Preparing reports including income statements and balance sheets
  • Checking for accuracy in reports, figures, and postings
  • Managing transactions for cash and cheques with banks

Office management:

  • Purchasing office supplies and taking proper inventory
  • Overseeing the general office operation
  • Managing calendars and appointments
  • Hiring, coaching, and training staff (as required)

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of bookkeeping experience
  • Previous experience in a law firm
  • Proficiency with MS Excel and PC Law
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with an eye for detail

Please note this is a full-time permanent position, however, part-time bookkeeping candidates may also be considered.
