Overview:
In this role, you’ll be responsible for the system oversight and support for the company's Health & Safety management platform. You will be reporting to and working closely with the Integration and Special Projects Director. You will work to support training, communications, policies, and best practices across the platform. You are responsible for conducting excellent presentations with the ability to simplify complex topics into easy-to-understand information for employees, vendors, management, and external partners. You will thrive and consistently be building relationships and maintaining strong communication avenues with subsidiaries and stakeholders. A strong analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills and specific experience with an HRIS, HSE, or similar management platform will be one of your day-to-day responsibilities!

Responsibilities:
  • Manages the Platform in coordination with the Integration and Special Projects Director and the Corporate Director – HSE 
  • Ensures consistency in the delivery and application of the platform across the business and assists in the planning, prioritization, and development of internal training programs and initiatives 
  • Ensures that training programs and initiatives are consistent with the business’s overall strategies, objectives, and needs 
  • Organizes, and schedules meetings and training sessions with the platform provider, ensuring proper support at all levels of the platform 
  • Acts as the lead support and administrator for the implementation and management of the platform and aids our subsidiary employee-partners 
  • Interacts heavily with leadership to develop and maintain platform metrics and analytics to support the various operational initiatives 
  • Works closely with the Integration and Special Projects Director to ensure that the platform is effectively implemented, managed, and supported 
  • Conducts training sessions online and in-person at the company's subsidiary locations on the use, delivery, and management of the platform 
  • Facilitates the development of a business intelligence platform including reporting and analytics 
  • Provides regular reports and updates on the platform implementation, progress, and performance 
  • From time to time, this function will be responsible for other projects or deliverables as assigned by the Integration and Special Projects Director
Qualifications:
  • University degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or similar field 
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience coordinating a corporate HRIS, HSE, or similar enterprise software system (experience with systems such as Cority a plus) 
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is considered an asset 
  • A strong background in program development, implementation, and analytics 
  • Experience in training and ability to present to large groups 
  • Ability to frequently travel within Canada 
  • Extremely organized with strong time-management skills 
  • Strong problem-solving skills with demonstrated experience in change management 
  • Self-driven – the ability to work both independently and in a team environment 
  • Strong customer service orientation – ability to communicate complex topics
