Our Winnipeg-based client has partnered with Leanne Bonnar, Partner, to lead their next search. Our client is in search of a Mechanic to service their internal fleet. This is a great, diverse workplace with many long-term employees.

  • Monday to Friday Daytime hours
  • Inspect trailers and various other equipment to ensure proper performance
  • B620 trailer experience an asset
  • Provide routine and preventive maintenance and service equipment as needed
  • Diagnose trailers for causes of failures and repair in safe, efficient manner
  • Conduct repairs in a timely and effective manner
  • Complete required paperwork, reporting and other documentation
  • Communicate with Shop manager and other staff regarding job progress
  • Maintain organized and safe work area and shop tools
  • Journeyman Certified Trailer Mechanic
  • Class 5 license (class 1 or 3 is an asset)
  • Welding or fabrication experience
  • Capable of medium to heavy lifting
  • Take personal ownership of tasks and foster a team environment
  • Organized and able to prioritize multiple projects at once
