Our Fort McMurray-based client has partnered with Aplin to lead their next search. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Branch Administrator is the first point of contact for all customers and is responsible for all general office administration duties. This role is a permanent, full-time position with opportunities for growth with job task variety.

  • Handling phone calls and walk-in customers while providing excellent customer service
  • Responsible for ensuring the timely pickup and delivery of office mail, including special handling and internal mail
  • Prepares quotes as needed
  • Provide assistance to walk-in customers
  • Assist with special projects as directed
  • Lifting, filing, typing and data entry
  • General office administration
  • Other duties as assigned
  • 3 years’ experience in an administrative role
  • Strong attention to detail, good organizational skills, customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work as a team player, with minimal supervision
  • Maintains a positive attitude and learns quickly
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Good computer skills; experience with Microsoft Office suite/Internet Explorer
  • Passionate about providing excellent customer service and able to build strong customer relationships
  • Above average attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Prioritizing tasks, managing stress and diffusing difficult situations in a fast-paced environment
  • Superior telecommunication and interpersonal skills
  • Resourceful and a good problem solver
  • Maintaining respect for confidentiality
  • Aptitude to learn and retain technical and product knowledge to properly direct phone calls and walk-in customers
  • Knowledge in shipping, logistics, construction and overhead garage doors is an asset
