In this role, you will experience a variety of opportunities to grow your communications skills! Working with the Communications Manager, you will assist in creating the internal and external communications strategies to help build relationships with stakeholders and increase awareness of practices/services this vital organization provides to the public.   • Develop a community relations plan that will build networks and relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Identify relevant networking opportunities to grow stakeholder relationships
  • Prepare appealing, relevant stakeholder communications in collaboration with the Communications Manager
  • Assist with the development of internal/external communications strategies to support the goals and objectives and increase brand awareness and recognition for the members and organization
  • Write new content and create campaigns to develop and build social media channels (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, video component, blogging)
  • Research and write presentations for members, prepare internal monthly newsletter for members, news bulletins, and more
  • On occasion, work with the Events Coordinator to implement stakeholder national conference and other events
  • Degree or diploma with a specialization in communications and/or marketing
  • Two years of experience working in the field of communications and/or marketing
  • Excellent writing skills and a working knowledge of a broad range of communications activities (social media, websites, publications, marketing, events, etc.)
  • Ability to build/maintain working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
