Sarah Tokar is a Partner in our Edmonton office. Her work focuses on senior level search and leadership assessment assignments including Director, VP, Executive Director, President, CEO, and Board of Directors. She serves the public sector and not-for-profit sector nationally. Sarah’s clients have included community charitable organizations, for-profit career colleges, industry associations, military organizations, and urban and rural municipalities.
Sarah has been with David Aplin Group since 2008 and has functioned in senior leadership roles on our executive team including Human Resources Manager and Corporate Services Manager providing high level administrative, strategic planning and operational support, research and advice to Aplin’s Advisory Board. She currently serves on the board of directors for the St. Albert Family Resources Centre, the Bredin Centre for Learning and the MacEwan University Board of Governors and Chair of the Governance and Human Resources Committee.
Sarah holds an MBA from Athabasca University and a Bilingual Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Alberta. She is also Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP), a Registered Professional Recruiter (RPR), and has completed the Executive Compensation Certificate Program through the Human Resources Institute of Alberta and Global Governance Advisors. In addition, she is a certified TAIS (The Attentional Interpersonal Style Inventory) and Birkman Consultant.
