David Aplin Recruiting – Privacy Policy

David Aplin Recruiting has always respected its responsibility to uphold the privacy of its candidates. Information is the cornerstone of our business, and candidates wouldn't provide us with personal information if they didn't trust us to safeguard it.

We collect personal information directly from candidates, or indirectly (with their permission) from their references, old employers, educational institutions, etc. We store this information in our database to use for current and future job openings. We only provide this information to our clients with our candidate's permission, and do not ever sell it or give it to anyone for reasons other than recruitment.

For Applicants to David Aplin Recruiting Consultants:

By submitting a resume for the purposes of engaging David Aplin Recruiting for my job search, I have consented to the:

a) The collection, use, and disclosure by David Aplin Recruiting of my personal information for that purpose, including my personal employment information. I understand that David Aplin Recruiting retains the right to decline recruitment services to potential candidates, and will not retain the personal information of potential candidates to whom service has been declined.

b) The collection of my personal information from my referees and former employers and may use and disclose my personal information to my referees and potential employers.

Further, I authorize the disclosure of my personal information to David Aplin Recruiting by any and all of my employers, former employers, schools, referees, and individuals reasonably connected to my employment or educational background.  In addition, I authorize such persons and David Aplin Recruiting to disclose my personal information to potential employers for purposes of evaluating my credentials and qualifications.

I hereby release David Aplin Recruiting, its employees, agents, and divisions, wherever located, and any and all of my employers, former employers, schools, referees, and other persons reasonably related to this recruitment process from all liability in responding to inquiries in connection with the services provided to me by David Aplin Recruiting.

I authorize David Aplin Recruiting to retain my personal information, including personal employment information, for an indefinite period of time for the purpose of recruitment.

I understand that, without my prior consent, David Aplin Recruiting will not sell or give my resume or any of my personal information, including my personal employment information, to a third party for any reason other than recruitment.

I understand that I may withdraw my consent at any time, with five (5) business days' notice.  Upon withdrawal of my consent, my file will be destroyed unless I direct, at the time I withdraw my consent, that it be returned to me. In addition, I understand that David Aplin Recruiting retains the right to keep a record of personal information relating to recruitment work already completed at the time of the destruction or return of my file.
